BDBSA Project Metadata Detail

Survey/Project Number: 125          Total No. of Sites: 1350
Survey/Project Name: Pams - Park Asset Database
Abstract: This project contains opportunistic records generally obtained on an ad hoc basis for parks across South Australia. METHODOLOGY: This dataset was loaded from the PAMS (Park Asset) database before it was decommissioned. Occasionally records are associated with a more extensive study (e.g. weed mapping in Morialta RP; Sturt Gorge RP; Cobbler Creek RP). The data records are primarily from reserves located within the agricultural region of the state, however, records may also be included from the pastoral region. The dataset includes surveys of Penambol Conservation Park (10 sites) and Piccaninnie Ponds CP (10 sites) using the Biological Survey of SA methodology, done by (Field Naturalists of SA or Friends of Parks members). Plant and fauna species records have been entered. These records are field determinations only. Additional data recorded but not entered includes cover/abundance, site physical data and assemblage information. This data is available on hardcopy data sheets stored by Department of Environment, Water and Natural Resources (DEWNR).
