Abstract: |
Bird surveys in various southern Mt Lofty Ranges Parks to examine connectivity of the parks in terms of bird movements and use of habitat. Study concentrates on four main areas, supplemented with occasional information from other sites.
Bird surveys include population counts and bird banding at set locations (sites, habitat types) within the parks. Generally try to achieve population counts, but may only note presence/absence at some times in some locations. A number of parks included but surveys conducted regularly in four main parks - Scott, Cox Scrub, Coorong and Newland Head Parks. Data collected over 15 years. Data supplemented by occasional observations in other areas of similar habitat. |
