Survey/Project Name: Gorse Control Trial (Tapanappa direct seeding)
Abstract: Gorse control trial with Tapanappa. Part of a more extensive project dealing with gorse control generally within Deep Creek Conservation Park and which has been underway since 1985. Determine the effectiveness of direct seeding to rehabilitate an area previously infested with gorse. Some canopy plants established but gorse has suppressed all undergrowth. Specific project ceased, but potential to revive and monitor fate of canopy species or try new control methods.
