BDBSA Project Metadata Detail

Survey/Project Number: 280          Total No. of Sites: 0
Survey/Project Name: Pinkawillinie Vegetation Project
Abstract: For the Land Systems mapping of the Gawler Ranges in 1987, three photopoint type sites were established in Pinkawillinie Conservation Park. The Land Systems mapping was an Inventory phase for Assessment of Pastoral stations within the region. These sites along with more recently established Biological Survey Sites (2001), potentially form a monitoring system for vegetation within the Park. Type Sites are not pegged sites, the locations maybe difficult to find from photography and grid coordinates taken from topographic small scale maps, there is limited quantitative information recorded.
