| Vegetation: | Sampling points located along a transect at 20-40m intervals depending on vegetation density, about 20 points/transect but depended on area size (at least 10 points). Strata were identified and the following variables were measured for tree and shrub strata in each of 4 quadrats around a sampling point. 1. Distance form sampling point to midpoint of nearest plant in each strata. 2. Height 3. Cover. Undershrub layer and abundances were recorded in quadrats of 1m radius at each sampling point along transect. | ||
