Abstract: |
Assess the uptake of 1080 fox baits and the success of fox control in 5 Southern Lofty District parks including Cleland National Park, Belair National Park, Mark Oliphant Conservation Park, Scott Creek Conservation Park and Onkaparinga National Park (1992-2007). Originally conducted in conjunction with larger land care or Friends groups. Bait stations are laid with 1080 Foxoff baits during Autumn, carcases are accurately located and dated, bait offtake recorded and data sheets. |

1080 fox off baits and 1080 on kangaroo substrate laid at bait stations 3 - 4 times a year for a period of 6 - 8 weeks. baiting density and spacing as required by DEH SOP, baiting corrdinated with Cleland CP and Mount Bold reservior, baits buried minimum of 5m from any track at recommended depth, checked for offtake 1 - 3 times a week |
