Survey/Project Number: 762          Total No. of Sites: 131
Survey/Project Name: Marbled Geckos in Ferguson Conservation Park
Abstract: The project was conducted from March-October 2008 in Ferguson Conservation Park. The aims of the project were 1) to determine the population structure estimating the population size and calculating the sex ratio of Christinus marmoratus, 2) to record movements of individual geckos by recording how much movement occurs during March to October, and if males, females and juveniles move differently, 3) to determine whether geckos form aggregations related to sex or size, and 4) to identify the eucalypt micro-habitat retreat sites used by Christinus marmoratus and determine whether they differ in bark type and height among juveniles, adult males and adult females.
