Survey/Project Number: 162          Total No. of Sites: 1399
Survey/Project Name: Mid-North and Yorke Peninsula
Abstract: This project aims to conduct a biological survey as part of standard ongoing Biological Survey of South Australia, in the Mid North and Yorke Peninsula regions of South Australia. AIMS: 1. Sample remnant native vegetation in each region to determine the impact of changes in salinity and water quality on biodiversity. 2. Examine how comprehensive, adequate and representative the existing government reserve and private conservation network is. METHODOLOGY: Study areas were based on IBRA Subregions - Southern Yorke EYB1, St Vincent EYB2, and Broughton FLB2 - plus the additional Environmental Associations - Wirrabara EA and Appila EA (in the Southern Flinders Subregion FLB4) and Mongolata EA and part of Terowie EA (in the Olary Spur Subregion FLB3).

Start Date: 01/03/1995      End Date: 02/08/2007
