Survey/Project Name: Coorong Water Quality Monitoring
Abstract: The Coorong Water Quality Monitoring Program has been implemented in response to the USE Dryland Salinity and Flood Management Plan. The monitoring program collects data on the water chemistry of the Coorong at 12 sub-lagoonal locations - Tauwitcherie, Mark Point, Long Point, Noonameena, Bonneys Reserve, McGrath Flat, Parnka Point, Ville De Yumpa, Woods Well, North Jacks Point, South Police Point, South Salt Creek. The program has also established continuous wind, water level, water velocity and salinity meters. These continuous meters are located at Salt Creek, Parnka Point, Mark Point and Tauwitcherie.
