Survey/Project Name: Strzelecki Vegetation Monitoring
Abstract: Tinga Tingana Pastoral Lease was assessed in 2000 as required under Pastoral Act. Photopoints were established and additional photos taken of particular landscapes. Some photos of landscapes taken in 1957-59 were located and repeated. One photopoint was established in 1974. There are additional historic photos, whose scenes could be relocated and compared. Lessees have agreed to surrender the lease, for inclusion of the lands into Strzelecki Regional Reserve. Existing photopoints could be used in a general monitoring program for vegetation communities within the reserve.
