Survey/Project Name: General Vegetation Trends in Yumburra Conservation Park
Abstract: In the early phase of Arid Zone vegetation monitoring, many photopoints were placed in North West and Far West regions of South Australia, including PP's 269 and 270 in what is now Yumburra Conservation Park. PP 269 is sited near a saline depression Googs lake with good view of vegetation fringing the lake and associated off road vehicle impacts. PP 270 was set up over an airstrip, which had been cleared, but which has regrown. PP 268 was located further north in Yellabinna RR and looks at the 1976 hailstorm damage inflicted on overstorey vegetation.
