Survey/Project Name: Reedy Lagoon Revegetation and Hydrological Monitoring
Abstract: Reedy Lagoon is held as a "Minister's Reserve" (Water Reserve No.3; near Penola ) under the Crown Lands Act. An adjoining landowner has an annual licence for sheep grazing only. Revegetation trials for woodland habitat have been undertaken. There are concerns that the regional groundwater table is dropping reducing the period of inundation of the swamp. Photopoints and piezometer monitoring is undertaken several times a year (1988-2001).
