Survey/Project Number: 410          Total No. of Sites: 9024
Survey/Project Name: Kangaroo Island Weeds register
Abstract: The Kangaroo Island Weeds Register is an opportunistic sighting database designed to record the point locations of known weed infestations throughout the whole of Kangaroo Island. The purpose of developing this database (started in 2005) is to provide a weed management tool for the DEWNR that will help facilitate weed control programs now and in the future. Data will come from DEWNR staff on the island and it is assumed that additional data sources may include organisations such as "Friends of Parks" and "Kangaroo Island Animal and Plant Control Board". Data collected under SU547 and SU548 have been loaded under this project 410.
