Abstract: Document waterbird species present in the Diamantina and Cooper systems during April/May 2009 in response to good flooding conditions through an aerial survey. This aerial survey was undertaken to cover a large area and calibrated through a ground survey conducted at a selection of localised sites. Data obtained from fixed wing aircraft transects.
