Survey/Project Name: ACRIS Bimbowrie Bio Mon Trial
Abstract: Australian Collaborative Rangelands Information System Bimbowrie biodiversity monitoring trial aims to do the following : -Collect habitat, vegetation and fauna data using agreed sampling protocols (Biological Survey methodology) for 16 sites that represent grazed and recovered post grazed states within a selected chenepod community. - Compile clean data in the BDBSA These data and any additional data in electronic form suitable for collation in a central database at project end. - Report progress on site establishment and data collection to the ACRIS Management Committee.

Study Area Description: Bimbowrie Conservation Park and Plumbago Pastoral lease NE region SA. Please refer to project #716 for physical and location information of each of the 18 sites (16 with veg & fauna; 2 with veg only) entered under this project. This project is revisit of existing sites.
Objectives
         Vegetation: Refer to Abstract.
         Fauna: Refer to Abstract.
Methodology
         Vegetation: Vegetation sampling as per standard SA Biological Survey
         Fauna: standard Biological Survey of SA methodology with revised quadrat trapping layout utilising radial pit/fence trap array, each site comprising 15 elliots, 4 pitfall traps, and 3 funnel traps.
