Survey/Project Name: Physiology of heat stress in birds
Abstract: This project aims to survey the physiological and behavioural responses of birds to high ambient temperatures, in order to determine which taxa are likely to be most sensitive to heat waves and/or increasing global temperatures. Field work will be carried out at Gluepot Reserve in the Riverland region of South Australia.
