Survey/Project Number: 1104          Total No. of Sites: 0
Survey/Project Name: Biodiversity Northern Agricultural Rapid Assessment - NYNRM
Abstract: This project used a rapid assessment technique that Nature Conservation Society of SA (NCSSA) developed for the Northern and Yorke NRM Board for properties applying for on-ground works funding. The scores were assessed by a panel who used this as a basis for allocating funding. This rapid assessment was examined as part of developing the BushRAT metric by the Native Vegetation group. The data may provide future opportunities for examining how well on-ground works money achieved desired outcomes.

Methodology
Vegetation: Initially the project used the full BCM assessments (that would be on the NCSSA database), but after the first year the feedback from staff was that they wanted a quicker method, hence the development of the rapid assessment technique. The scores were assessed by a panel who used this as a basis for allocating funding.
