Abstract: This project aims to conduct a baseline survey of two River Murray wetlands located between Morgan and Wellington, South Australia. OBJECTIVES: 1. Provide detailed information on the composition of plant associations in wetlands of the River Murray. 2. Assess the health of trees associated with wetlands of the River Murray. 3. Collect data that can be used to inform current and future management of wetlands of the River Murray.

Study Area Description: Swan Reach to Blanchetown Road (Approx. 15 km. north of Swan Reach). yarramundi Creek and adjoining lagoon
Objectives
         Vegetation: To provide detailed information on the composition of plant associations in wetlands of the River Murray. To assess the health of trees associated with wetlands of the River Murray. To collect data that can be used to inform current and future management of wetlands of the River Murray.

Methodology
         Vegetation: Complete list of plant species per quadrat using Braun/Blanquet cover abundance scores (variable quadrat size). Assessment of tree health (Eucalyptus camaldulensis and E. largiflorens), along transects. Tree health was rated from a score of 0 for dead trees to 5 for the healthiest trees.
         Fauna: *** No vertebrate methodology recorded
