Survey/Project Name: Vegetation Ecology of Dalhosie Springs, Noack
Abstract: This project exams the vegetation dynamics of Dalhousie Springs in the Far North region of South Australia. AIM: Fieldwork was carried out in the early 1990s as part of requirements for a PhD degree, collecting vegetation and environmental data aimed at: 1. enabling a detailed vegetation map to be produced 2. facilitating an understanding of the complexity of Dalhousie Springs regarding plant-species composition, and the pattern of individual species and groups of species 3. providing the basis for future management and conservation of the Dalhousie Springs area. A collection of voucher specimens of plant species will be made for identification purposes.
