Abstract: |
This project aims to conduct an inventory of remnant native vegetation on cemetery, parkland and other council managed reserves in the Mid North region, near Adelaide, South Australia.
SURVEY AREAS:
1. NORTHERN LOFTY RANGES FLORA REGION:
District Councils of Kapunda, Light, Clare and Gilbert Valleys;
2. NORTHERN AREAS:
District Councils of Goyder, Port Pirie and Districts.
AIMS:
1. Assess botanical significance of reserves;
2. Set priorities for conservation;
3. Report results to councils with management recommendations.

Study Area Description: |
Plains and undulating country with low ranges and localised sand ridges.
Most of Northern Lofty Herbarium Region (NL) plus several sites on Pekina mapsheet north of region (in Flinders Region FR) 1 site fall outside of the defined spatial boundary: Site Id PEK00101, Patch Id 17318 and falls on the Pekina mapsheet 6632-03. |
