Abstract: This project aims to study the Brown Treecreeper (Climacteris picumnus) near Adelaide, South Australia. The bird is the largest Australasian treecreeper, endemic to eastern Australia and often occupying eucalypt-dominated woodland habitats up to 1000 metres, avoiding areas with a dense shrubby understorey. Threats to the species include land clearing and the resultant habitat loss and fragmentation.
