Survey/Project Number: 111          Total No. of Sites: 121
Survey/Project Name: Warraweena (NCSSA) Flinders Ranges
Abstract: This project aims to conduct a biological survey, in 1999, to determine the major vegetation communities of Warraweena Sanctuary in the northern Flinders Ranges, South Australia, and to survey the vertebrate fauna associated with these vegetation communities. Reference: Telfer, W.R. (2000). The Biodiversity and Natural History of Warraweena. The Nature Conservation Society of SA. Inc. NOTE: Survey Site coordinates were reviewed in 2018 to address suspected uncertainty in locational accuracy. Site was projected against Google Earth imagery and compared with physical and vegetation site data. Original site survey sheets including mud maps were consulted where available. In 2019 locations were either verified or moved the minimum distance required to improve data consistency. All changes were documented within the site audit data.
