Abstract: | This project aims to conduct a biological survey of the Strzelecki dunefield and Cooper Creek floodout, in the north-east of South Australia, to obtain vegetation species and abundance information for utilisation in developing new remote sensing techniques for vegetation mapping (PhD Project). |
Start Date: | 01/10/2002 End Date: 30/07/2003 |
Survey Type: | Vegetation Only |
Study Area Description: | Study Area is located in the Strzelecki Dunefield and Cooper Creek floodout. Rainfall<200mmp/a Vegetation consists mainly of Zygochloa dunefields and coolabahs etc in floodot countr Site is bounded by the following 250K mapsheets: Gason, Innaminka, Kopperamanna, Strzelecki, Marree and Callabonna GIS Graphic coverage to be provided later |
