| Abstract: | This project aimed to determine the floristic and fauna communities of the Kulliparu Conservation Park, western Eyre Peninsula, South Australia, and surrounding vegetation. Site selection, in 1990, was based on covering a variety of landforms and vegetation types using aerial photography, and reconnaissance over a north-south gradient. REFERENCE: Brandle, R. | Study Area Description: | Average rainfall approximately 350-400mm. Calcareous undulating plains with loamy soils over sheet limestone with areas of parallel white sand dunes and an area of saline swamp. Vegetation is dominated by low mallee woodland with Melaleuca tall shrubland. The southern area grades into a Vegetated areas of Kulliparu Conservation Park and associated reserves and surrounding freehold and leasehold land. Mapsheets 5831-1 and 5831-4 and 5832-2. Eucalyptus porosa tall open woodland. |

| Vegetation: | Quadrats 30 x 30m were surveyed for plant species using Braun/Blanquet cover abundance scores. Samples were also collected of moss and lichens. | ||
| Fauna: | Six pits and 50m of drift fence with 15 Elliotts per site. Birds surveyed minimum of 30 minutes in a morning or an afternoon per site. Reptiles searched for minimum of 30 minutes per site. | ||
