Survey/Project Name: Environmental Assessment of Water Management Options for Kangaroo Island
Abstract: This project aims to provide the Kangaroo Island NRM Board with knowledge to support the development of improved water resource management policies for Kangaroo Island (KI), South Australia. OBJECTIVES: 1. Design and implement a scientifically robust water dependent ecosystem (WDE) monitoring program (potentially involving a Citizen Science component), that can inform future ecologically-sustainable water resource management on KI. 2. Analyse the ecological data collected through the monitoring program to determine the level of risk to WDEs, based on different water resource management policy scenarios.
