Abstract: This project aims to conduct a biological survey to record the vegetation on Althorpe Island and South Neptune Island, off the coast of South Australia. All selected sites were chosen to represent the different vegetation communities of the islands.

Study Area Description: Exclusively on Althorpe and South Neptune Island Boundary to include Althorpe and South Neptune Islands. Bound by coast. 6227-02 - Althorpe 1:50 000 mapsheet and 6127-04 Neptune 1:50000 mapsheet.
Objectives
         Vegetation: To record the vegetation on Althorpe and South Neptune Islands.

Methodology
         Vegetation: Complete list of plant species per 30X30 meter quadrat using Braun / Blanquet cover abundance scores. Vouchered specimen collected for each new species for the state herbarium.
