Abstract: This project aims to conduct a biological survey of the terrestrial and semi-aquatic habitats of the River Murray Mouth region, near Goolwa, South Australia, in 2001/2002.

Study Area Description: Hindmarsh Island, Mud Islands Game Reserve, Young Husband Peninsula down to Pelican Point.
Objectives
         Vegetation: Survey the Biodiversity of the Terrestrial and semi-aquatic habitats of the Murray Mouth region.
         Fauna: Survey the Biodiversity of the Terrestrial and semi-aquatic habitats of the Murray Mouth region.
Methodology
         Vegetation: all species in quadrat recorded and cover abundance estimated
         Fauna: Single lines 15 Elliott traps, 6 pitfalls x 50m, 2 cage traps and one hour of searching for reptiles and mammals and a morning and evening one hour search for birds.
