Survey/Project Name: Gum Lagoon Conservation Park (Nature Conservation Society)
Abstract: This project aims to conduct a biological survey throughout Gum Lagoon Conservation Park, South East region, South Australia. METHODOLOGY: Data was collected during two week long flora and fauna surveys in the Park in September 1995 and October 1996. Flora surveys were also undertaken in addition to the week long surveys. A total of 39 vegetation quadrats, 29 vertebrate sites and 52 bird sites were sampled throughout the park Standard Biological Survey of South Australia methodology. Objectives
         Vegetation: Need to chase up SU Sum details. Rick Davies and Jason Van weenen co-ordinated the 2 trips. Veg is entered but Rick cant find vegetaton sheets. We have photopoint slides for some 1995 sites. Rick thinks he has 1996 photopoint slides and will send them in when he locates them.
         Fauna: Bird Observation sheets - same species were entered as one record with number observed summed.
