Survey/Project Name: Mount Monster Conservation Park 1982
Abstract: A resource inventory of Mount Monster Conservation Park, South East, South Australia. The study compiled data on the climate, topography, geology, vegetation patterns, native flora and fauna, pests, history, infrastructure and management of Mount Monster Conservation Park. Through this data, management problems could then be identified and detailed. Field work for this study was conducted in June 1982.

Objectives
         Vegetation: To compile an accurate resource inventory of the Mount Monster Conservation Park, with a view to identifying and describing management problems.
         Fauna: To compile an accurate resource inventory of the Mount Monster Conservation Park, with a view to identifying and describing management problems.
Methodology
         Vegetation: A series of pace and compass transects were undertaken, spaced every one hundred metres apart, heading due magnetic north. Stops were made every one hundred metres along each transect and at distinct change in the vegetation along each transect and where ever any pest plant or vertebrate pest infestations were found. At each stop, the field data sheeet was filled out.
