| Abstract: | Slide Collection of D.N. (Darrell) Kraehenbuehl was donated to Peter Lang in 2014. Plant species, vegetation & relevant historical slides +/- their digital scans are held and managed by State Herbarium; fauna slides made available to Knowledge Management group, and a small number of scans put in electronic BioDataStore folder. All slides currently housed in cabinets alongside SABIRS collection, filed by photographer. Note: some of Darrell's slides were loaned and scanned for SABIRS and the originals of these may now be held by State Herbarium. |

| Fauna: | The slides were donated unsorted and without an associated data set. Most have brief data written by Darrell on the mount (subject/general location/approx. date) though often some or all of these elements are missing; many slides were labelled from memory well after they were taken (sometimes years/decades); sometimes duplicates or alternative views of the same subject bear conflicting data. A few of the plant images have been related by P.J. Lang to BDBSA voucher numbers, particularly in cases when he was present with Darrell in the field. Start and finish dates given are a guess of the possible date range. | ||
