BDBSA Project Metadata Detail

Survey/Project Number: 139          Total No. of Sites: 2443
Survey/Project Name: Mundulla Yellows Project
Abstract: This project aims to conduct a biological survey to determine and record the distribution of Mundulla Yellows disease symptoms, in eucalypts and other native plants, across South Australia. For the purposes of storing this data the symptoms of Mundulla Yellows have been included in the Flora Taxonomic system as an honorary plant. This dataset is a compilation of records of Mundulla Yellows symptoms from various sources.

Start Date: 01/01/1998      End Date: 31/12/2006
Survey Type: Vegetation Only

Study Area Description: Agricultural areas of South Australia, predominantly in the South-eastern regions (SL, NL, MU, SE, YP), but sightings have been recorded as far west as Streaky Bay and as far north as Hawker.
Objectives
Vegetation: Determine and record the distribution of "Mundulla Yellows" symptoms across South Australia. For the purposes of storing this data the sypmtoms of Mundulla Yellows have been included in the Flora Taxonomic system as an "honorary" plant. This dataset is a compilation of records of Mundulla Yellows symptoms from various sources including Kylie Moritz, David Paton, Jo Cutten and Hafiz Stewart, and others.
Fauna: *** No fauna survey objectives recorded
Methodology
Vegetation: Sites were described by Easting, Northing, Zone and Datum, a brief site description and for some records the Eucalypt species displaying symptoms.
Fauna: *** No vertebrate methodology recorded

Data Distribution Rules: Public Dataset
Project Basis: Vegetation : Distribution - Vegetation/Fauna species (ie ad-hoc opportunistic species records - not usually re-visited) NOTE:NON Std Svy methodology
