Survey/Project Name: Recovery of Senecio megaglossus in Dutchman's Stern Conservation Park
Abstract: Growth and recruitment of a population of Senecio megaglossus (rated as vulnerable under the EPBC Act, 1999) has been monitored to evaluate the impact of goat grazing on the long-term survival of the species in the southern Flinders Ranges (Dutchman's Stern Conservation Park). A goat proof grazing exclosure was constructed in 1993 and details of the layout are contained in a report by R Davies 1995 titled Threatened Plant Species in NP&W Act Reserves in South Australia. Surveys have been conducted at irregular intervals since 1992.
