Survey/Project Name: Elliot-Price CP Vegetation Monitoring
Abstract: Lake Eyre completely filled to highest levels known in 1975/76. A number of photopoints were established in 1976 to monitor shorelines (Elliot-Price Conservation Park) and which included additional shots of near shore plant communities (sand plain, dune, cliff vegetation). Photopoints were also placed away from shore in other land forms (sand sheets, plains). Some sites were revisited during the Muloorina Assessment of 1999 and another photopoint placed. All sites would form the basis of general vegetation community monitoring to evaluate trends in structure and composition.
