| Study Area Description: | The Della Land System is an area of longitudinal red sand dunes possessing characteristic associations of interdune and dune land units. Interdune units are subdivided by sandy swales grading to heavy cracking clay swales. The Marqualpie Land System consists of irregular and longitudinal red sand dunes with varying swales based on differing soil type, and broad areas of sandplain. Within the boundaries of the Della land systems in north east of SA, in the Innamincka Regional Reserve Encompasses two waterholes: Toolachee Oil and Gas Field and Burke-Dulligari Oil and Gas Field. All sites fall on the 1:100000 Dullingari mapsheet (7041). |

| Fauna: | Standard biological survey methods - see report for details. At each site are two trapping lines of 5 pitfalls, one line in a dune habitat and the other in an interdune habitat. Done for well, off-well and control sites. At each pitfall line 10 Elliot traps were established briefly but due to low capture rate they were discontinued in the permanent programme. | ||
