Abstract: The Paddock tree/Remnant patches survey recorded Bird species and abundance in 4ha paddock tree sites of varying % canopy cover and in 4ha remnant vegetation sites of Red Gum and Blue Gum/Pink Gum vegetation types. Survey was conducted from 2003-2006 in the South East region of South Australia. Approximately south of Francis and north of Penola, East of Naracoorte to SA/Vic border.

         Fauna: Bird species and abundance were recorded in 4ha paddock tree sites of varying % canopy cover and in 4ha remnant vegetation sites of Red Gum and Blue Gum/Pink Gum vegetation types.

         Fauna: All trees were inspected for bird species and numbers. No birds were counted twice. maximum site time of 20 minutes.
