Abstract: | This project aims to conduct a biological survey between 1992 and 1994 for the Happy Valley District Council, near Adelaide, South Australia, to obtain a regional view of native vegetation in the study area; supplementary to existing information from the survey of the Southern Mount Lofty Ranges (Department of Environment and Planning, 1986), with additional survey sites. |

Study Area Description: | Ridges and narrow gullies of the spine of the Mount Lofty Ranges, foothills escarpment and undulating plateau. Rainfall 600-1150mm pa. Vegetation mainly sclerophyll open forest, woodland and low woodland, with some more open grassy woodland. City of Happy Valley, City of Mitcham and District Council of Stirling. |
