Abstract: Document waterbird species present in the Diamantina and Cooper systems during April/May 2009 in response to good flooding conditions through an onground survey. This ground survey was undertaken to calibrate an aerial survey conducted in April 2009 over a broader area of the Channel Country. Data obtained from boat and walking transects.
