Survey/Project Name: Monitoring Seas and Inspiring Communities (MOSAIC) Marine Parks Survey
Abstract: The aim of the project is to undertake the collection of fish-presence site data, and build citizen science activity in South Australian marine parks, through engagement and education. Monitoring Seas and Inspiring Communities (MOSAIC) citizen science in Marine Parks (MP): Two pilot surveys of fish (presence) at Cape Dombey Sanctuary Zone (SZ-3) and North Neptune Islands Sanctuary Zone (SZ-1) sites. Developed by the Conservation Council of South Australia (CCSA) in collaboration with Department of Environment, Water and Natural Resources.

Study Area Description: Inside the North Neptune Islands MP Sanctuary Zone, UTM zone 53 and adjacent Cape Dombey MP Sanctuary Zone, UTM zone 54. Neptune Island MP lies south of Lincoln and west of Kingscote (KI) 250000 map sheet in an area outside of 250000 map sheet coverage.

Methodology
         Vegetation: *** No vegetation methodology recorded
         Fauna: Site presence observation data of fish and crustacean species, nearby and in baited Lobster pots, (catch to be released following observation) using both snorkel and underwater video camera observations during the course of day boat trips, depending on weather and volunteer observers availability.
