Total No. of Sites:
||This project aims to examine the vegetation associations systematically for flora and fauna in the Murraylands region, South Australia.
Sites were chosen to represent variation across the study area, using standard Biological Survey of South Australia methods.
This project is part of the Biological Survey of SA programme run by the Biological Survey and Monitoring group, Department for Environment and Heritage (DEH).
Survey areas are defined in a DEH spatial layer managed by DEH Environmental Information Group.
Field work was carried out during 1990/1991.
A review of site coordinates was undertaken to address suspected uncertainty in locational accuracy in 2019. Site was projected against Google Earth imagery and compared with all available site data including dominant species, species list, topography, mudmaps, landform description, remnant vegetation and landscape. Locations were either verified or moved the minimum distance required to improve data consistency. All changes were documented within the site audit data.
End Date: 30/11/1991
