|Abstract:||Hardcopy report of wetlands in South Australia (LLoyd and Balla 1986). For each wetland, data entered under Wetland Name, location, wetland size, catchment, aquatic fauna, aquatic vegetation, marginal vegetation, wetland condition, water regime, catchment land use, impacts, tenure, special features and notes. Information on wetlands obtained from existing references at the time (not new field work). Where sufficient information available, each wetland was 'scored' (note, many wetlands were not scored due to insufficient information). List of aquatic and marginal vegetation for wetlands. Species lists obtained from existing references. List of aquatic fauna for wetlands. Species lists obtained from existing references.|
|Start Date:||01/01/1986 End Date: 30/11/1986|
|Survey Type:||Vegetation and Vertebrates|
|Study Area Description:||Important wetlands throughout South Australia were identified, and available information was used to assess their conservation value and management needs.|
|Vegetation:||List of aquatic and marginal vegetation for wetlands. Species lists obtained from existing references.|
|Fauna:||List of aquatic fauna for wetlands. Species lists obtained from existing references.|
|Vegetation:||Vegetation information for each wetland was obtained from scientific literature available at the time. Vegetation information included in the report includes (where available) dominant aquatic and marginal plant species, and any other 'special features' contributing to conservation value eg. rare species, endemic species. NB: Flora lists are generally substantially incomplete, or even absent.|
|Fauna:||*** No vertebrate methodology recorded|
