Survey/Project Name: Fairview Wetlands Monitoring
Abstract: The Fairview Wetlands are 3 wetland basins situated on properties. These wetlands had varying salinities - marine to fresh - but the Fairview Drain decreased their periods of inundation. Pumps were installed in the Fairview Drain to artificially re-instate an appropriate wetting and drying system. Wetland habitat was fenced off and revegetation works undertaken. Dataset includes photopoints, aquatic herbland cover/abundance, water chemistry and hydrology, waterbirds.
