Survey/Project Name: Coorong and Lower Lakes mudflat survey (Invertebrates)
Abstract: This project aims to research the ecology of mud flats to subsequently manage environmental flows to better manage mudflats. This information will be linked to the "Habitat Mapping Database Coorong and Lower Lakes Survey", and may be included on the spatial database. Data is collected bi-annually (survey began 2004) from 26 GPS located sites. A sediment sample is taken, with attributes measured including: - Invertebrate composition - sediment composition - total organic content - water chemistry
